Reissue of the classic book Robinson Crusoe, written by Daniel Defoe, as a pocketbook.
The cover builds on the integrated idea in the book, in which the main character counted the moons to have the notion of time. This though was transferred to the front and back as a graphic composition of the four phases of the moon, alternating with the title and the author's name.
The color used on the covers is blue, mainly associated with the blue sky, but never letting it be too dark for it to get the contrast with white (moons) and black (typography). The composition created, based on squarely rules and the creation of a rectangular shape, is justified by the main character's need to try his best to have rule and control throughout his history, for its geographical, chronological and emotional level.
As for the book's core, this was worked based on a research and study of one of the largest and most highly known, not only by me, editing and selling pocketbook companies - Penguin Books. The core of the book was then worked on a general grid, including head and page number, and other more specific, for the creation of page variations, such as the first page, biography, title page, credits, content, chapter start page, plain text page and chapter change page. The typography used was DanteMT, in various weights and sizes.
